The biggest festival of Manipur "NINGOL CHAKKOUBA" being celebrated as every year on Hiyanggei gi nini panba numit which falls this year on 15th November 2012. Picture taken from RIMS Road, Keishampat, Singjamei....
The theme of this festival is to strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters. All the sisters will come along with their children, and brings sweets & others (including Coconut, apple, orange) as gift. The brothers will in turn present gifts that their sister wishes.
