Ishingthingbi - A small lake situated at the foothills of eastern heirok at Konaitong Maring village under Chandel district.
This natural beauty was preserved by the Ishingthingbi Yaipha Thourang Committee in 1971 along with Pan Manipur Youth League and Konaitong village authority but due to the law and order situation the committee got defunct and since then the lake has been left without no one to look after.
The lake which is about 5 kilometers from heirok litan makhong has become smaller and shallow due to siltation and and jhum cultivation in the catchment areas.
Earlier the lake has a depth of about 40 feet and 2 paris in size.
According to beliefs of Maring tribe, the lake is a sacred one. They donot touch the water with their legs.
