Nongbrang, situated at western bank of Thoubal River in Imphal East district :: July 2017

Nongbrang is a village situated at the western bank of Thoubal River in Imphal East district. It is under Andro Assembly constituency.

Nongbrang has a total of about 300 household and inhabitated by about 1800 people.

The village is divided into three different parts namely Awang Leikai, Mayai Leikai and Makha Leikai.

It is about 25 Km from the State Capital, Imphal. It can be reached via Yaripok by passing through Yambem, Leirongthel Pitra, Changamdabi and Nungaipokpi.

The village falls within the Yairipok to Moirang purel stretch. It is about 10 Kilometers from Yairipok villages that surrounds Nongrang are Bongbal Khullen and Tangkhul Khullen in the east, Leironthel Pitra in the south and Kamuching village and Nongpok Keithelmanbi in the North.
