Mera Houchongba festival was celebrated to re-affirm the close bond and ties between the hill and valley people all over the State on October 26, 2007 at Kangla.
Every year on Mera purnima in Manipuri calendar, every house arranged a limelight in front of the house (shumang da Mera Wayungba) prayers for peace and happy years.
