N. Biren (former editor of vernacular daily Naharolgee Thoudang) and Dr T Meinya who were elected on DRPP (DPP) ticket from Heingang and Konthoujam A/C respectively during a felicitation function at party office on February 25. DRPP was making debut contest in the 8th Assembly elections.
