Mukna Kangjei (Khong Kangjei or Manipuri Hockey) - 2 Pana Marjing and Thangjing played exhibition match of Mukna kangjei. The game is played with seven players on either side and each player is equipped with a bamboo stick about 4 feet in length which is bent at the lower tip like the modern hockey stick. The game is started with a throw of the bamboo -root-made ball in a field of 200 x 80 yards. A player may carry the ball in any manner towards the goal but he shall have to score a goal only by hitting the ball with his stick.
