Wakching Nongma Panba Cheiraoba : offerings to Konthong Lais, the first three inhabitants of Awang Sekmai, namely Khulling, Shilling and Paling ;at Awang Sekmai on 10 January 2016.
It has been celebrating among the original Sekmai Loi of 11 Sageis at Awang Sekmai since time immemorial. Waakching is believed and considered, the first month of the Awang Sekmai Loi lunar calendar unlike the other Meeteis.
