Independence Day of India was celebrated in a befitting manner at Moreh Block Hq on 15 August 2010.
Shri Lunminthang Haokip, ADC/Moreh hoisted the National Flag as the Chief Guest of the function. In his speech, he explained the implied meanings of the Saffron, the White, the Green and the Ashok Chakra that are the intrinsic components of the Tricolour.
