Khullakpa of Tarung Khul Laichunglung Kabui performed "Yenkhong Tamba" ritual at Kangla in the morning to forecast the fortune of the State in the coming year besides invoking the blessings of the Almighty.
The traditional Mera Houchongba festival was celebrated to re-affirm the close bond and ties between the hill and valley people all over the State on October 17, 2005 at Sana Konung (the Royal Palace) @ Kangla.
