Team Arunachal set three record in the highest mountain Mount Everest in the month of May 2011. Team Arunachal comprised of Dr K. Romeo Meitei Team Leader, presently working as in-charge Adventure Cell, Department of Youth affairs and Sports Govt of Arunachal Pradesh.
The two members are Tina Mena and Anshu Jemsenpa. Tina Mena is the first women(mother) from North East India to scal the Mount Everest.
Anshu Jemsenpa scaled the Mt Everest twice in a single season within 10 days from Everest base camp to Base camp.
