Mukna, an indigenous game of Manipur, played at Heirok, Thoubal during the 13th Death Anniversary of (late) Arambam Somorendra Martyrdom was held at different parts of Manipur and also in Assam on June 10 2013.
Floral tributes were paid at the statue of late Arambam Somorendra at Social Standard Club complex, Khurai Salanthong.
Symposium Open Discussion, Song competition, Spot Painting Competition, Ex-tempore Speech competition, Cheibi tournament, Kang tournament, Mukna competition, Seireng Seidinnaba marked the celebration of the late leader. Kang Tournament was held at Wabagai Awang Leikai while Mukna competiton was held at Heirok both in Thoubal district.
Cheibi Tournament was held at Khurai Sajor Leikai.
The celebration was held at Moreh and Jiribam organised by Meitei Council Moreh and Jiri Development Organisation respectively.
In parts of Assam, the observation was held at Sonai in Cachar and Hojai in Nagaon district.
