UVSA, Chajing claimed the title of the 15th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament after edging out FC, Imphal 8-5 in penalty shoot-out at Mapal Kangjeibung on 02 June 2013 .
With neither side scoring in regulation period of the title match, tie-breaker was applied in which eight penalty takers from the Chajing side emerged successful out of 11 shots each compared to only five FC veterans finding the mark.
The champions and runners-up teams were presented Rs 25,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively while individual prize winners pocketed Rs 2000 each. The cash prizes were donated by individuals in memory of their near and dear ones.
