NVFA of Nagaland claimed the champion title after defeating NEVFA of Khurai by 4-1 goals in the final match of the 11th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament 2009 held at Mapal Kangjeibung Imphal June 9th 2009. Nagaland team is led by the DGP of Nagaland Police Mr. Kare. The champion team donated half of the cash prize to organising committee FVWA.
