Th. Birchandra Singh Football Academy (TBSFA) club BSMC of Taobungkhok ,who represented Manipur team lost to Chandigarh by 1-2 goals in the Manchester United Premier Cup football 2013 India Finals organized by AIFF held at Tata Steel Keenan Stadium Jamshedpur on 3rd May 2013.
In the final match Manipur team dominated the first half. Buanthanglun converted a goal in 19th minute of play.
In second half Chandigarh equalized goal in 25th minute and the winning goal scored was in 35th minute of the play. Manipur relentlessly attacked in last 3-4 minutes of the match but failed to get the elusive equalizer. Best goalkeeper of the tournament goes to Manipur goalkeeper M Romario, Best defender to K Jim Singh also Manipur and the best striker goes to Samuel a Manipuri representing Chandigarh. Manipur and Chandigarh will go to SESA football academy Goa for All India Finals.
The winner of South-West vs Runner of North-East. And in the semifinal match winner of North East vs Runnersup of South-west. For South West zone qualifying competition will finish on 6th of May 2013. The Winner from India will play in Malaysia in the June 2013.
