Manipuri-american Dinner In New York :: Friday, April 23, 2010

Media arts curator L. Somi Roy hosted a dinner of Manipuri-American cuisine on Friday, April 23 in New York City. The dinner menu consisted of yendem kangsoi soup; a salad of awathabi asangba (green papaya) and thambou (lotus root) singju; grilled salmon steaks; alu kangmet mashed potato; and California Texmati rice; and was designed and prepared by Lin Laishram, model and actor. It starts with shopping for ingredients in New York's Chinatown.
