"The freedom fighter of Manipur" - Hijam Irawat - 113th Birth Anniversary celebrated throughout Manipur on September 30, 2009. The farmers of different part of the state took part in a rally at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal on 30th Sept 2009.
The hero of Manipur fought against British rule in 1946-47. He is deeply loved by the farmers.
