Education (S) Govt of Manipur observed Teacher's Day at Directorate of Education (S) Lamphelpat office complex. The government selected 9(nine) teachers for award of State Teachers Award 2009 on the occasion of the Teachers Day. Awardee teachers are

4.Samte Charoilet - Headmaster, Ritinchiung Aeded Jr H/S.
5. Yengkhom Kengba Hindi Graduate Teacher - Yangbi Govt H/S.
6. S Madhop Arts Graduate Teacher - Jirighat Jr H/S.
7. Waikhom Usha Devi Graduate Teacher - New Ideal H/S.
