Under the sponsorship of National Rural Health Mission, the State Health Services purchased 22 ambulance vehicles called "Mobile Medical Units" and was distributed district-wise.
Inside the Ambulance there are facility for oxygen, First Aids including X-ray machine
CM O Ibobi inaugurated this mobile medical unit in the first week of March 2008.
