First anniversary observation of Mao incident organised at Martyr Park Mao gate on May 6 2011.
The observation was held commemorating the two youths from Kalinamai village, Senapati district of Manipur who were killed at Mao Gate on May 6 2010, when Manipur armed forces allegedly fired upon a group of rallyist organised in protest against the barring of entry of Th. Muivah, general secretary of the NSCN-IM by the Manipur Government.
