Sitting MLA Maibam Kunjo of Hiyanglam constituency passed away at his Babupara official residence following a protracted health problem on 11th August, 2014. Manipur CM O Ibobi Singh, Deputy CM Gaikhangam, Speaker, MLAs of Manipur Legislative Assembly and Family members paid floral tributes and their last respect to the departed soul of Maibam Kunjo Singh.
