Several outstanding media persons were awarded for their service and dedication. They include
Meisnam Karnajit (Hueiyen Lanpao) for Print media- Male,
Longjam Alisonz (People's Chronicle for Print Media-Female,
Takhellambam Sunil Kumar (ISTV) for Electronic media- Male.
Tongbram Romesh of IPR and outstanding Hawkers,
Chirom Biren and Bungo Macha along with Kangabam (o) Rashi Devi, the first female hawker in the State were also awarded for their service.
Krishna Mohon, Desk Editor, Sanaleibak and Thongam Luwang, Desk Editor, Hueiyen Lanpao were also felicitated on the occasion
