After 43 individuals illegally staying in Manipur were booked under the Foreigners' Act on 30th Aug 2012, Manipur Police continues to take up stringent measures by conducting operation at 3 different places of Imphal West. 60 suspected illegal immigrants were picked up from Khuyathong Pukhri Mapal area for further investigation. Likewise certain other suspects were picked up from Nagamapal and Babupara areas on 31st Aug 2012.
The mass operation is taken up by the police for proper regulation and the initiative is first of its kind as it progresses in two days with verifications and hard works with full commitment from the concern department.
