The much delayed Bir Tikendrajit Flyover was formally dedicated to the public by the Governor, Dr SS Sidhu and Chief Minister Okram Ibobi on November 30, 2007.
Work for the flyover, which was built by the National Buildings Construction Cooperation, under funding from the Ministry of Urban development began as early as 2003.
