Flood Relief Camp at Nambol on May 29 2016

Sunday, 29th May, 2016, The Meetei League (a group at Facebook) volunteers and friends with financial and logistic supports from The Awakened Kangleichas (TAK) Facebook groups organized a Flood Relief Camp at Hidaksuang Kabui Khun, Khabi mamang Leikai, Awang Keikai, Maning Leikai, Konthoujam Constituency and Utlou, Nambol Constituency. Under this flood relief camp, our group today distributed relief materials like rice, mosoorie dal, Hawai kangtak, Aloo, Salt packets, Candle packets, 1/2 litre mastard oil, Medicine kits (Sinares, Crocine tablets, diarrhoea tables, ORS powders, Detol soap), some sugars and kerosene to severely flood affected and poor some 20 household at Hidaksuang Kabui Khul, around 27 households at Khabi Awang leikai, 21 houses at Khabi Maning leikai, 41 houses at thongkhong Area Khabi and around 22 houses at Utlou area.
We are thankful to our volunteers,members of TAK Facebook groups who donated some part of their hard earned money, the drivers and handymen of the vehicles engaged to carry our relief materials and volunteers in making today's programme grand and successful. Last but not the least, we are highly thankful to members and elders of the local area who cooperated with our relief team.
