Orange Queen Contest 2009-2010 as part of Orange Festival 2009 held at Tamenglong organised by Orange Growers federation Tamenglong at Tamenglong Lower Ground on 10th dec 2009.
Winners List: Thokchom Omena(19 years) as Orange Queen title
Bonny Laishram and Ester Gangmei were adjuged the first and the second runners-up respectively.
The Orange Queen title carries a cash prize of Rs 75,000 while the first runner-up carries Rs 50,000 and second runner-up carries Rs 30,000 .
The sub-title winners of the beauty contest were Sangila M-Miss Congeniality, Fonchunlieu Panmei-Miss Beautiful Smile, Pushparani H-Miss Photogenic, Margret Gonmei-Miss Beautiful Skin, Soma Laishram-Best Catwalk and Catherine Rose-Miss Perfect Ten. The best designer award was begged by Bikram who designed the costume of Miss Photogenic Pushparani.
In all, 33 young and beautiful girls participated in the Orange Queen contest.
