Mapao Zingsho khul, inhabited by Tangkhul, is situated about 18 Km from Imphal , towards Pangei Road, in Saikhul Sub Division under Senapati District. This photo was taken in the third week of September 2015
It is inhabited with around 100 houses and about 500 people. The Khul could be taken as one of the Cleanest Khul / Village in the whole of Manipur.
This Khul is surrounded by HIlls on all sides
There is a cave in a hill near Mapao Khul, which according to legend that, when Wai (Rice Husk) is thrown down from this cave, the 'Wai' emerges at the Cave at Kangla.
