A new design of pheijom without distorting the original designed was enveiled by Ngangbam Kala Meitei and Ngasepam Yumjao Meitei both from Sagolband Moirang Hanuba in August 2011.
The new design having the style of trouser has namei and kunja fixed on the back and front respectively.
The stitching (making) charge Rs. 100/- per Pheijom without Pheijom phi
