Ningel - Natural Salt Factory in the second week of August 2016 : Salt is manufactured in the form of beautiful cakes and they are considered to have good medicinal properties.
These salt cakes are used in ceremonial purposes also. Important places where brine springs are found are at Waikhong, Sikhong, Chandrakhong, Ningel etc.
