The biggest ever poppy destruction was undertaken in Manipur Chandel district from 13th to 17th February 2015. 20 Assam Rifles under IGAR (S) carried out joint operation under SP NAB with teams of Narcotics Action Bureau, Manipur Police, Civil Administration and other Government agencies in the area of Machi Sita Jn. Tonghlang, Hongjang and T/Huimol area on 17th February 2015.
