5th State level Manipur Pineapple Festival 2012 underway which includes
* Manipur Pineapple Show Contest
* Farmer's Seminar
* Free Medical Camp
* Pineapple Bazaar
on 31 August 2012 at Sendra Craft and Mela Ground, Bishnupur District, Manipur
Pineapple stalls were seen occupied at Sendra Venue with Agriculture scientists inspecting the quality of the Pineapples with different tests. A medical camp at the festival area was also conducted by Assam Rifle. The festival is set to advance production of Pineapple in the State
