Preparations for "Kang" which falls on 21st June 2012 started in Imphal, Manipur on June 19 2012. Kang is celebrated in Manipur in the name of Lord Shri Shri Jaganatha, His Sister Sumidra and Brother Baldajha. The 'kang' marches down the local lanes where people offer fruits and other offerings to God.
