A Fashion show durung "Saras Fair 2009" - an event in the chain for assisting the rural artisans at Iboyaima Shanglen in the second week of November 2009.
It is jointly organised by Department of Rural Development, Govt of Manipur & District Rural Development Agency Imphal East and sponsored by Ministry of Rural Development Govt of India.
SARAS 2009 is another event in the chain for assisting the rural artisans, opening new opportunities for them improving their awarness level and exposing their richness of products from rural poor to the urban markets. Altogether 140 Self Help Groups from 9 districts of the state participated in the SARAS Fair.
