For the last 46 years under the sponsorship Tamil Sangam, Moreh, Manipur, India and with active support and co-operation of the Tamil youth wings, we organise the sports meet Thai Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated by Tamilians at the end of the harvest season. Pongal is a Three days festival which usually takes place from January 14 to 16 in the Gregorian calendar i.e., the last day of the Tamil month Maargazhi to the third day of Tamil month Thai.
