Gotimayum Asharani performing : A four-day Festival of Classical Manipuri Solo Dance at Maharaja Chandrakriti Auditorium, Imphal on 26th September 2014. The festival is jointly organized by Manipur State Kala Akademi, Imphal and Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.

Gotimayum Asharani Devi is a promising young artiste of Manipuri Dance. She Completed her Diploma and Post Diploma in Raas and Lai Haraoba from Jawaharalal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal. She received Young Artiste Scholarship under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. Of India. She has performed on numbers of occasion in festivals held in and outside the state such as Uttrayan Utsac-Gujarat, Nirman Utsav-Indore, Bhagyachandra Dance Festival-Imphal, Festival of Manipuri Classical Solo dance, Imphal, Winter Festival-Darjeeling, Manipur Festival-Delhi & Chennai, SAARC festival-new Delhi, OCTAVE festival-Arungabad etc.
She has also participated in carious international dance festivals such as Delhi in Festival-London & Rome, India Summer Festival-United Kingdom, India Festival-China, Festival of India-Australia, 4th International Folklore Festival-Thailand.
At present, she is working as a leading dancer of Manipuri Jagoi Marup and is actively taking part in all its cultural activities.
