Shri Pukhrambam Bilash Singh, a well-experienced and talented artiste of Manipuri dance and Manipuri Martial Arts (Thang-Ta), received his training in dance from Late Padmashree Thingbaijam Babu Singh and undergone his advance training under guru M. Kaminikumar Singh and P. Iboton Singh. Further, he completed Diploma in Dance and Post Graduate Diploma in Lai-Haraoba from Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal and 3-year Diploma in Thang-Ta from Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association. He received the Young Artiste Scholarship under the Ministry of Culture, Govt, of India. He has participated in various dance festivals including Bhagyachandra National Classical Dance Festival, Imphal, 2011, Uday Shankar Shatabdi Samaroh, New Delhi, 2001, Khajuraho Festival, 2000, 50 years of India Independence, South Africa, 1997, Edinburg Military Tattoo Festival 'The Queen's Golden Jubilee', U.K., Festival of 150th Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, Bangladesh, 2011. He has also participated in several ballet produced underthe Production Unit of JNMDA including Keibul Lamjao, Meghdoot, Lei-Langba, Wainu Pareng, Moirangsa, Phool Yudha etc. Presently, he is working as an artiste in the Production Unit of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal.
