Cultural programmes at the closing day of Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary, Battle of Imphal (WW II) at MFDC auditorium, Imphal on 28th June 2014
The closing function which marked the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Imphal was jointly organised by the Second World War Imphal Campaign Foundation and Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
The closing function was also attended by many foreign dignitaries and diplomats including Australian High Commission in India, First Secretary (Defence) Jane Spicer, Consul General of the United States Helen G LaFave, British Deputy High Commissioner Scott Furssedonn Wood and Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Japan Charge d'affairs Y Kawamura.
