Thougal Jagoi from Manipur at The 8th Surin International Folklore Festival 2013 which begins from 16th January 2013 at Surin, Thailand.
This Festival is participated by around 300 participants from 15 different countries.
Manipur is also participating in this festival by 26 participants, which includes a cultural group sponsored by Department of Art & Culture, Government of Manipur.
Dr. L. Jibonkumar Sharma, Director, MIMS, Manipur University will be the Key note speaker at the International Conference on "ASEAN : the Sustainable Development" during the festival.
"Thougal Jagoi" from Manipur was the first opening performance of the day among the participating countries.
