The Arambam Somorendra Trust organised the 9th Arambam Somorendra Martyrdom Anniversary at differents parts of the state. Mr. Niketu Iralu scholar and peace activist from Nagaland delivered the memorial lecture and offer flowers at the mausoleum of late Martyr. The subject of the memorial lecture was on "Our Common Crisis; What Are We To Do?" held at JN Manipur Dance Academy on 10th June 2009 at Imphal.
