On 5th November 2014 , Just Peace Foundation(JPF) , May 18 Foundation (Korea), Forum Asia (Thailand) jointly organized a solidarity fast to support the Manipur people's struggle for democracy in Manipur at Lamyanba Sanglen, Imphal Manipur. People from South Korea, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia and some part of India came and extended their solidarity to the people's struggle for democracy in Manipur in general and Irom Sharmila's 15 years fast in particular .
Along with that, Sharmila Kanba Lup, Film Forum , Manipur, TG Hr Sec , CC Hr Sec, Ibotonsana, Ananda shing, Manipur University, Johnston Hr Sec , AMMEK, and many women's organizations joined the struggle on the same day and fast for a day.
Four Gwangju laureates , Wardah Hafidz, Coordinator, Urban Poor Consortium ( Indonesia), Binayak Sen, National , Vice President PUCL and Physician (India), Lenin Raghuvanshi, Secretary General & Executive Director, PVCHR (India), Sushil Raj Pyakural ,Founder Chairperson of INSEC( Nepal) had joined the fast in Imphal. 5 Members of the May 18 Foundation from Korea including Ms Lynn Jeong , Director May 18 Memorial Foundation had supported the struggle for democracy in Manipur and Irom Sharmila Chanu . .
Journalist- Amit Sen Gupta, Ravi Nitesh Srivastava (SSSC) also joined the fast.
