Imphal, March 20 2010: As the 14th East Zone Men and Women Handball Championships, 2010 held at Thoubal Athokpam Primary School ground entered its second day, Manipur displayed its dominant nature by winning all the foru matches played today against different states.

In men's first match Manipur beat Bihar 37-16 .

Sh Takashor (7), Ratan (7), Okendro (6), Amitkumar (5) and Jiten (4) were the scorers of Manipur.

In the second match, Assam beat Nagaland 28-10 .

Maniram Boro of Assam scored 11 goals.

Manipur defeated Tripura 30-18 in the third match today.

Ratan of Manipur scored nine goals.

Other scorers were Kiran (7), Takeshor (6) and Abocha (5). Bicky Suha of Tripura also scored nine goals.

In the fourth match, Manipur beat Nagaland 19-6 .

Tomba (6), Baker (3), Gobin (3) and Kiran (3) were the scorers of Manipur.

In the fifth match Bihar beat Tripura 29-23 in a keenly contested match.

Manoj of Bihar scored 12 goals while Becky Shah of Tripura scored nine goals in the match.

In women's first match.

Nagaland beat Assam 21-3 .

Bijenti of Nagaland scored 10 points.

In the second match Manipur beat Nagaland 17-5 .

O Sandhyarani of Manipur scored four goals.
