    Imphal, September 03: The following are the final results of the manipur university Inter-College (men & women) Judo Tournament 2005-06 held at Manipur College Campus today with dean of Social Sciences Prof N Joykumar Singh, additional Director of Education (U) Dr Ng Navachandra Singh and manipur College principal Dr L Birendrakumar Singh as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.

    Position winners of the competition would represent MU at the All India Inter-University Judo Championship to be held at Amravati University, Maharashtra.

    Women Below 44 kg: 1st Kh Priyabati - Pravabati College.

    48 kg: 1st P Romita - DM College of Arts; 2nd T Sumitra - GP women’s College.

    52 kg: 1st Ch Pinky - GP women’s College.

    Men below 56 kg: 1st Kh Nilakanta - DMC Arts; 2nd M Ashakumar - DMC Arts.

    60 kg: 1st T Saphaba - Biramangol College; 2nd N Tolenkhomba - Modern College.

    66 kg: 1st A Surchandra - MU PG Classes; 2nd N Prakash - Manipur College.

    73 kg: 1st T Anandaraj - Liberal College; 2nd Sh Sadananda - Mayailambi College.

    81 kg: 1st Khogen Sharma - Modern College.

    Inter-college football: Sangkhuplian scored the only goal in Imphal college’s solitary goal win against Manipur College in the a Pratap Memorial Inter-College football tournament 2005-06 at Moirang College campus today.

    The Imphal College match-winner came in the 32nd minute.

    DMC of Arts will take on Moirang College today.
