Imphal, January 13:
The NSS Unit-I and II of Lilong Haoreibi College, Lilong has collected a sum of Rs 2,030 as donation from the public in the past two days for the victims of tsunami disaster.
The amount would be contributed to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund and the same has been handed over to State Liaison Officer, NSS Cell, Government of Manipur for onward transmission to the NSS Regional Centre, Guwahati.
The NSS units has, in the meanwhile, expressed gratitude to all concerned for their generous contributions.
Fund drive: NSS volunteers of Waikhom Mani Girls' College launched drive to raise fund for the victims of tsunami disaster at Thoubal Bazar on January 10.
