Imphal, November 25 2009:
As part of the efforts being made to improve bilateral relation between India and USA, an exhibition match of the traditional Polo game of Manipur would be played in Washington in June next year.
For sending a team of Polo players from Manipur to the USA in this regard, the Governor has written a letter to the State Government.
After the proposed exhibition match at Washington, Polo team from USA would also come to India in June, 2011 .
