Imphal, November 18 2009: Showing solidarity to the villagers of Kamranga Khasia, a team of Jaintia Youth Federation led by its president DL Ryombai from Jowai (Meghalaya) visited the village today, reports our Jiribam correspondent.

Ryambai asserted that the eviction notice served to the villagers of Kamranga Khasia which falls under Tousem sub-division of Tamenglong district has become a matter of concern to the federation.

He also pledged to take up the issue to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya and added that the federation would put all its effort to protect the villagers from being evicted.
