Shops at Paona Bazar looted

Imphal, November 21, 2009:
Miscreants have looted around Rs 5,000 from three shops in highly guarded Paona Bazar under City Police station last midnight.
The shops which were looted are De Menz, KP Store and Converse.
The City police have nabbed one Md.
Nasir Ali alias Anu (29) son of (L) Najeqat Ali of Hatta, said to be involved in the crime.
He is said to be a drug addict.
Three other accomplices are said to be absconding.
Nasir Ali said was said to be apprehended while keeping watch on by-passers.
Owners of the shops have been identified as Pukhrambam Ojit of Top Leirak (owner of De Menz), Keda Prasad of Bihar presently residing at Pratap Galli (owner of KP Store), and Manoj Jain (owner of Convernse store).
