Imphal, November 18 2009:
23 Assam Rifles organised school health programme camps under Ops Sadbhavna at Shangshak Government High School and Tribal Christian English School, Shangshak
Khullen today.
A total of 206 students were examined and free medicines were distributed by the medical team.
39 Assam Rifles also conducted a lecture cum medical camp at Nilakuthi.
More than 84 persons were diagnosed and provided with free medicines.
A lecture programme on HIV/AIDS, good health and hygiene was also conducted as a part of the camp, said a press release of PRO Hqs IGAR (S) .
