Imphal, November 16: The all colourful Liangmai Naga tribe festival cum sport is all set to begin from January-17 next at Tamei headquarters.

The 12-day long cultural and sport festival will be participated by Liangmai villages from Manipur, Nagaland and Assam.

The festival’s main highlights will be displaying of rich Liangmai cultural and traditional items.

The Liangmai tribe is well known for their traditional attires and cultural richness.

According to Dara Newmai, president of the Liangmai Sports Association (LSA), the concerned people of the festival held a meeting on Oct-30.
