Imphal, May 28: Members of RPF/PLA Division No IV paraded before news-persons four persons alleged to be involved in extortion and selling psychotropic substances in an Imphal East district area today.

The four persons are Md Achouba alias Ibungo (27) and Md Kora (25) of Urup Litan Makhong and Md Anoh Khan (25) and Md Naha (23) of Urup Chinga.

Speaking to the media, a spokesman of the underground outfit gave a brief account of activities of the four.

The spokesman said in addition to selling tablets to the youth, the four had coerced and extorted an amount of Rs 500 from one Babu Hussien of Urup Awang leikai on May 10.After dismantling the arm used by the four in extortion activities the RPF/PLA cadres also disciplined them before handing them over to their respective family elders.
