    Imphal, November 26 2009: Instead of adopting the traditional method of teaching, one should implement new teaching methods from others, said Mrs Erica Huntingdale of US Department of Education.

    She was speaking at the valedictory function of the four-day workshop on 'Implementation of project based learning and inquiry based learning in classroom,' organised by the Kanan Devi Memorial College of Education, Pangei under the sponsorship of International Reaserch and Exchange Board (Irex), US Education Department, USA today.

    Ms Erica said, the knowledge on the teaching methods adopted by the USA, which were imparted to trainees during the four-day should be adopted in practical.

    The occasion was graced by RM Naveen Singh, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lamphelpat; K Madhumangol, secretary of KDMCE, Pangei; and Ms Erica Huntingdale, delegate from the US Education Department as the chief guest, president and guest of honour.
