Imphal, November 22 2009: Tangkhul Naga Zingtun Longphang (TNZL) organised a leaders consultation programme from November 18 to 20 at Shokvao village.

Juctice (retd) WA Shishak spoke on preservation of the unique Tangkhul Naga culture, its flora and fauna and rebuilding of lost glories in partnership with God.

Indepth analysis and workshop on 'natural resource management' and 'development' was also conducted with Tychicus Vashum, Project Manager, UDCRM/IFAD and Rev Dr Tamthing Ruivahnao, Programme Co-ordinator, DHP Imphal as resource persons.

The consultation programme adopted resolutions on productive management of human, land, forest, water and resources and overall development strategies with the unanimous support of prominent elders, headmen, village authorities, pastors and church, leaders, presidents/chairpersons of student and women organisations of 33 western Tangkhul villages.
